
Cal Poly Launches New Planning Tool to Strengthen Wildfire Mitigation in Urban Communities

A new guidebook to improve wildfire mitigation work in urban areas, developed by an interdisciplinary team of researchers from the fields of architecture, planning, geography, and fire science & ecology at Cal Poly’s Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) FIRE Institute and Texas A&M University’s Hazard Reduction & Recovery Center, is now available.
